no you just make sure your background is hidden and those corners are transparent and then save as a .png

yes you do. background colour is #333333. that way you can save it as a jpg and half the file size at the same time

Okay?? So when I drag a picture into that box it goes over the Lines then I try and rub it out and it says Rasterize etc. If I click ok the guide disappears. is there a easy way to cut the image into that box??

whatever layer is the one with rounded edges go to that layer in the layer palette Ctrl + click on the layer icon then Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection - then click on the bottom layer push DEL then select tohe layer above that push DEL. delete all the little bits in the corner of each layer and then save as a .PNG.

TBH, tutorials are rather pointless when it comes to learning how to use PS. What you need to know is all the tools and how to use them. That way you can achieve an unlimited number of effects without having to use generic "tutorial" methods.
IMO anyway.

yea but what can you learn from my tutorial for example? how about 4 different keyboard short cuts, one way to use the gradient tool (where the gradient tool is) how alpha channels and layer masks works....i thought it teaches quit a lot - not just how to make reflective text.
plus: im where i am with PS today souly because of tutorials. now im able to create my own.

That's ridiculous. By using tutorials you can find out what the tools are for and how to use them properly. I really hope you don't decide to not make anymore because of this comment! I love seeing stuff like this, it's awesome that people put time into these.

hmmm, i am planning on doing some video tuts for you guys but my screen recorder doesn't pick up the interface of CS3 so its kinda like all the fancy tool bar stuff is gone. not that itts necessary but it looks a bit weird.

what did you use to record it?
You need to explain how your doing things not just what your doing. I understood it but your average photoshop begineer may not know that ctrl + t is the shortcut keys to transform an image.
Also i wouldnt show it loading at the start (with license info) if yourve got a pirate version (which im assuming you do)
